A water cooling/recirculating management system, including: a controller; a fluid displacement pump; a centrifugal separator; a germicide generator; and a primary side stream magnetic field generator.
Claims20
A water cooling/recirculating management system for treating water in a cooling tower, the system comprising:
- a fluid displacement pump;
- a centrifugal separator;
- a germicide generator configured to destroy algae, bacteria, and viruses in water recirculated through the cooling tower;
- a primary side stream magnetic field generator, and
- a controller configured to coordinate operation of the fluid displacement pump, the centrifugal separator, and the germicide generator.

A water cooling/recirculating management system for treating water in a cooling tower, consisting of:
- a controller that coordinates operation of system components;
- a fluid displacement pump that extracts water from a main stream basin and displaces the extracted water through a closed-circuit side stream;
- a centrifugal separator having an inlet, an outlet, and a solids collection chamber with a purge valve;
- a germicide generator utilizing copper/silver ionization electrodes configured to destroy algae, bacteria, and viruses in the water in the cooling tower;
- and
- a primary side stream magnetic field generator comprising at least one permanent ceramic magnet mounted to a non-ferrous pipe with south pole facing inward toward the water.
