Abstract
A blind rivet setting tool including a nosepiece storage unit removably attached to a housing feature of the tool, wherein the nosepiece storage unit is configured to hold a plurality of nosepieces and defines a mandrel receiving opening which aligns with an exit opening of the tool such that the broken mandrel of a set rivet can be moved through the mandrel receiving opening in use; and method of using the nosepiece storage unit.

A blind rivet setting tool comprising:
- a tool housing;
- grippers for pulling a mandrel of a blind rivet in use;
- a drive assembly for causing the grippers to grip and pull the mandrel of the rivet to be set in use;
- a nosepiece connector for releasably retaining a nosepiece in place such that in use the blind rivet to be set can bear against the nosepiece while the mandrel thereof is pulled;
- an exit opening through which a broken mandrel of a set rivet can be moved;
- and
- a nosepiece storage unit removably attached to the tool housing and configured to releasably hold a plurality of nosepieces, wherein the nosepiece storage unit defines a mandrel receiving opening which aligns with the exit opening such that a broken mandrel of a set rivet can be moved through the mandrel receiving opening in use.

A blind rivet setting tool comprising:
- a tool housing;
- grippers for pulling a mandrel of a blind rivet in use;
- a drive assembly for causing the grippers to grip and pull the mandrel of the rivet to be set in use;
- a nosepiece connector for releasably retaining a nosepiece in place such that in use the blind rivet to be set can bear against the nosepiece while the mandrel thereof is pulled;
- an exit opening through which a broken mandrel of a set rivet can be moved;
- and
- a nosepiece storage unit, removably attached to the tool housing, having a plurality of nosepiece receiving portions configured to hold a plurality of nosepieces, each of the nosepiece receiving portions having a hole and a set of fingers for gripping a nose piece inserted through the hole, wherein the nosepiece storage unit defines a mandrel receiving opening which aligns with the exit opening such that a broken mandrel of a set rivet can be moved through the mandrel receiving opening in use.
