Abstract
Covalently linked linear polyethylenimine (PEI) clusters are provided that change conformation depending upon changes in counterion concentrations. The structures may be used for the storage, delivery, and/or transport of substances.
Claims11
A method of delivering a substance to a mammal, the method comprising:
- subjecting a composition comprising a nanogel particle comprising crosslinked linear polyethyleneimine and the substance to a sodium chloride concentration of less than about 50 mM or greater than about 200 mM to compact the nanogel particle;
- and
- providing the nanogel particle to the mammal for oral delivery.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
