Uplink grant downlink control information for frequency domain compressed uplink precoding

A method for wireless communications by a network entity, comprising:

• transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), at least one downlink control information (DCI) indicating at least a first part and a second part of uplink precoding information collectively indicating:
• one or more sets of one or more frequency domain (FD) bases;
• and
• one or more linear coefficients;
• and
• receiving, from the UE, a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmitted in accordance with the first and second parts of the uplink precoding information.

A user equipment (UE) configured for wireless communications, comprising:

• one or more processors configured to execute instructions stored on one or more memories to cause the UE to:
• receive, from a network entity, at least one downlink control information (DCI) indicating at least a first part and a second part of uplink precoding information collectively indicating:
• one or more sets of frequency domain (FD) bases;
• and
• one or more linear coefficients;
• determine UL precoding based the one or more sets of FD bases and the one or more linear coefficients;
• and
• transmit a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) based at least in part on the UL precoding.

A network entity configured for wireless communications, comprising:

• one or more processors configured to execute instructions stored on one or more memories to cause the network entity to:
• transmit, to a user equipment (UE), at least one downlink control information (DCI) indicating at least a first part and a second part of uplink precoding information collectively indicating:
• one or more sets of frequency domain (FD) bases;
• and
• one or more linear coefficients;
• and
• receive, from the UE, a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmitted in accordance with the first part and the second part of the uplink precoding information.
