Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a duty cycle for transmitting one or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols via an ultra-wideband (UWB). The UE may transmit the one or more OFDM symbols via the UWB based at least in part on the duty cycle. Numerous other aspects are described.

A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to cause the UE to:
- determine a duty cycle for transmitting one or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols via an ultra-wideband (UWB) communication;
- insert one or more zero samples between portions of the UWB communication;
- and
- transmit the one or more OFDM symbols via the UWB based at least in part on the duty cycle.
A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to cause the UE to:
- receive a signal that is transmitted via an ultra-wideband (UWB) based at least in part on a duty cycle;
- divide the signal into a plurality of fast Fourier transform (FFT) windows based at least in part on the duty cycle;
- perform FFT for each FFT window of the plurality of FFT windows;
- and
- demodulate the signal based at least in part on performing FFT for each FFT window of the plurality of FFT windows.
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- determining a duty cycle for transmitting one or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols via an ultra-wideband (UWB) communication;
- inserting one or more zero samples between portions of the UWB communication;
- and
- transmitting the one or more OFDM symbols via the UWB based at least in part on the duty cycle.
