Group monitoring and management of network functions of public cloud-based 5G network

A network status monitoring and management system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a computer-readable storage media storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to:
• receive a query for checking a real-time status of each one of a plurality of network functions of the 5G network deployed on a cloud computing platform, wherein each network function corresponds to a network function vendor that provides the network function, the plurality of network functions comprising all network functions executed across a plurality of cloud computing regions of the cloud computing platform;
• obtain a real-time status of each network function, the real-time status including a registration status indicating whether the network function is registered or unregistered;
• compare the real-time status against a pre-determined reference status for each network function,
• determine presence or absence of an anomaly for each network function based at least in part on the comparison, wherein the presence of the anomaly is determined when the registration status indicates that the network function is unregistered and the reference status indicates that the network function should be registered;
• and
• generate an output that includes the real-time status and an indication of the presence or absence of an anomaly for each network function.
