Emergency opening device for a lifting gate assembly, lifting gate assembly and method for opening a lifting gate assembly with an emergency opening device

A lifting gate assembly, comprising:

• a drive device with a rotationally fixed inner shaft and a brake;
• a lifting gate;
• two door frames;
• and
• an emergency opening device;
• wherein the emergency opening device comprises:
• a driver;
• a movement element;
• an elongate drive member;
• and
• a locking element;
• wherein the driver is rotatably mounted on the rotationally fixed inner shaft of the drive device;
• wherein the elongate drive member is connected to the movement element and is configured to transmit a movement caused by the movement element to the driver;
• wherein the driver has at least one releasable connecting element;
• and
• wherein the releasable connecting element is a bolt which is displaceable through an opening of the driver in such a way that the bolt, in an engaged position, engages with a recess of the drive device;
• wherein the lifting gate is guided in the door frames;
• wherein the drive device is configured to raise and lower the lifting gate using electrical energy;
• wherein the drive device is configured to be connected to the driver;
• and
• wherein the emergency opening device is configured to be actuated purely mechanically in order to open the lifting gate in the event of a power failure.

A method of operating an emergency opening device of a lifting gate assembly,

• wherein the lifting gate assembly comprises:
• a drive device with a rotationally fixed inner shaft and a brake;
• a lifting gate;
• two door frames;
• and
• the emergency opening device;
• wherein the emergency opening device comprises:
• a driver;
• a movement element;
• an elongate drive member;
• and
• a locking element;
• wherein the driver is rotatably mounted on the rotationally fixed inner shaft of the drive device;
• wherein the elongate drive member is connected to the movement element and is configured to transmit a movement caused by the movement element to the driver;
• wherein the lifting gate is guided in the door frames;
• wherein the drive device is configured to raise and lower the lifting gate using electrical energy;
• wherein the drive device is configured to be connected to the driver;
• and
• wherein the emergency opening device is configured to be actuated purely mechanically in order to open the lifting gate in the event of a power failure:
• wherein the method comprises the steps of:
• connecting the driver to the drive device in a rotationally fixed manner;
• releasing the locking element, thereby enabling a rotational movement of the driver relative to the rotationally fixed inner shaft;
• releasing the brake of the drive device and thereby opening of the lifting gate by the tension energy stored in the elastic element.
