Menstrual cycle tracking

A system for identifying a menstrual cycle phase at a user device, comprising:

• a wearable ring device configured to be worn on a finger of a user and acquire physiological data from the user, wherein the wearable ring device comprises:
• a ring-shaped housing;
• one or more temperature sensors arranged within the ring-shaped housing, wherein temperature data measured from the finger of the user captures a higher degree of temperature fluctuations as compared to core temperature measurements;
• a plurality of sensors arranged on a surface of the ring-shaped housing;
• and
• one or more processors disposed at least partially within the ring-shaped housing, wherein the one or more processors are electrically coupled with the one or more temperature sensors and the plurality of sensors;
• a communication module electrically coupled with the one or more processors, wherein the communication module is configured to transmit the physiological data generated by the one or more processors, wherein the one or more processors are configured to:
• measure, using the wearable ring device, the physiological data comprising at least temperature data;
• determine, via the one or more processors, a time series of a plurality of temperature values taken over a plurality of days based at least in part on the temperature data, wherein the time series comprises a plurality of menstrual cycles for the user;
• compute, via the one or more processors, a derivative of the time series of the plurality of temperature values;
• invert, via the one or more processors, the derivative of the time series of the plurality of temperature values based at least in part on computing the derivative of the time series;
• identify, via the one or more processors, one or more morphological features of the inverted derivative;
• identify, via the one or more processors, one or more menstrual cycle phases in the time series based at least in part on identifying the one or more morphological features of the inverted derivative of the time series and the temperature data measured being indicative of the temperature fluctuations, wherein each menstrual cycle phase of the one or more menstrual cycle phases is associated with a morphological feature in the inverted derivative of the time series;
• and
• transmit, via the communication module, one or more signals to a user device to cause a graphical user interface of the user device to display the one or more menstrual cycle phases.
