Keyless puck lock apparatus and system

An electronic access control apparatus comprising:

• a lock body comprising side walls defining a circumference of the lock body, a first exterior surface defining a first exterior portion of the lock body, and a second exterior surface defining a second exterior portion of the lock body,
• wherein the lock body further comprises an interior portion;
• a locking bolt comprising a shaft extending from a first end to a second end,
• wherein the locking bolt is moveably coupled to the lock body;
• a blocker assembly housed in the interior portion of the lock body, wherein the blocker assembly comprises a blocker mechanism configured to be actuated between at least a first position and a second position,
• wherein the blocker mechanism is configured to prohibit movement of the locking bolt when the blocker mechanism is configured in the first position;
• and
• an electronics assembly being housed at least partially in the interior portion of the lock body, the electronics assembly comprising a battery, a control module, and a wireless communications antenna,
• wherein the wireless communications antenna is configured to receive a wireless signal from at least one electronic device,
• wherein, in response to receiving the wireless signal, the control module is configured to command the blocker assembly to actuate the blocker mechanism from the first position to the second position,
• wherein, upon actuating the blocker mechanism from the first position to the second position, the locking bolt is configured in the unlocked configuration.

An electronic access control apparatus comprising:

• a lock body comprising side walls defining a circumference of the lock body, a first exterior surface defining a first exterior portion of the lock body, and a second exterior surface defining a second exterior portion of the lock body,
• wherein the lock body further comprises an interior portion;
• a locking bolt comprising a shaft extending from a first end to a second end,
• wherein the locking bolt is slidably coupled to the lock body;
• a biasing means configured to bias the locking bolt outwardly from the lock body;
• a blocker assembly housed in the interior portion of the lock body, wherein the blocker assembly comprises a blocker mechanism configured to be actuated between a first position and a second position,
• wherein the blocker mechanism is configured to prohibit movement of the locking bolt when the blocker mechanism is configured in the first position;
• and
• an electronics assembly being housed at least partially in the interior portion of the lock body, the electronics assembly comprising a battery, a control module, and a wireless communications transceiver,
• wherein the wireless communications transceiver is configured to receive a wireless signal from at least one electronic device and communicate the wireless signal to the control module,
• wherein, in response to receiving the wireless signal, the control module is configured to command the blocker assembly to actuate the blocker mechanism from the first position to the second position,
• wherein, upon actuating the blocker mechanism from the first position to the second position, the biasing means is configured to move the locking bolt.
