Apparatuses, systems, and methods for sample testing

A method for sample testing comprising:

• injecting a sample mixture comprising a reference substance and a sample substance to each of a plurality of sample channels and at least one positive reference channel;
• generating a plurality of test signals based on interference fringe patterns from the plurality of sample channels and at least one reference signal based on at least one interference fringe pattern from the at least one positive reference channel;
• receiving the plurality of test signals associated with the plurality of sample channels and the at least one reference signal from the at least one positive reference channel;
• recording the at least one reference signal as at least one positive indication benchmark;
• and
• determining whether each test signal provides a positive indication according to the at least one positive indication benchmark.
