Abstract
A coupling system includes an upper housing with a body with an elongated axis; a plurality of slots extending through the body; and a plurality of locking members slidingly engaged within each of the plurality of slots, the plurality of locking members are configured to move in a direction away from the elongated axis of the body. A lower housing integrally attached to the upper housing, the lower housing having a cavity; and a first grip disposed with the housing.
Claims8
A coupling system, comprising:
- an upper housing, having:
- a body with an elongated axis;
- a plurality of slots extending through the body;
- and
- a plurality of locking members slidingly engaged within each of the plurality of slots, the plurality of locking members are configured to move in a direction away from the elongated axis of the body;
- a lower housing integrally attached to the upper housing, the lower housing having a cavity;
- and
- a first grip disposed with the housing;
- a toggle configured to slidingly engage with the first grip;
- wherein the first grip is configured to releasably engage with a protrusion of a male device
- wherein the toggle causes the first grip to engage with the protrusion as the toggle slides in a direction along the elongated axis;
- and
- wherein the upper housing is configured to releasably engage with a female device.
