Abstract

A building structure with a base unit and building unit that can be moved relative to the base unit is provided with a joint cover, which bridges a compensating joint between the building unit and base unit, supported on the building unit and on the base unit. At least one of the two support structures has sliding partners, one of which is a sliding partner paired with the building or base unit in a fixed position and the other of which is a sliding partner paired with the joint cover in a fixed position. One of the sliding partners is designed as a sliding ramp in a region such that when the sliding ramp contacts the paired sliding partner, an approaching movement of the building unit towards the base unit raises the joint cover. The sliding ramp may be designed with a continuously increasing pitch.

Dependent claims

A building structure, comprising a basic structural unit (42) and a building unit (1) bearing-mounted to be movable laterally relative thereto, wherein an expansion joint (5) having a walkable and/or drivable joint cover (6) is present laterally relative to the building unit (1) between it and the basic structural unit (42), wherein;

the joint cover (6) is braced via a first bracing structure (14) on the building unit (1) and via a second bracing structure (14′) on the basic structural unit (41),
the first bracing structure (14) comprises a pairing of two sliding partners, of which one is a bracing sliding partner associated in positionally fixed relationship with the building unit and one is a braced sliding partner associated in positionally fixed relationship with the joint cover, and/or the second bracing structure (14′) comprises a pairing of two sliding partners, of which one is a bracing sliding partner (15) associated in positionally fixed relationship with the basic structural unit (42) and one is a braced sliding partner (16) associated in positionally fixed relationship with the joint cover (6),
at least one of the sliding partners (15, 16) is constructed at least in a lifting region as a sliding ramp (24) that, during sliding contact of the sliding ramp (24) with the associated sliding partner (16, 15), an approach of the building unit (1) toward the basic structural unit (42) corresponding to a reduction of a clear width of expansion joint (5) leads to lifting of the joint cover (6) in the region of the bracing structure (14, 14′),
and wherein the sliding ramp (24) is constructed as a progressive curvature portion over at least part of its extent with a steadily increasing slope that, upon sliding contact of the associated sliding partner with this portion (40) of the sliding ramp (24) during approach of the building unit (1) toward the basic structural unit (42), the ratio of the vertical velocity of lifting of the joint cover (6) in the region of the corresponding bracing structure (14, 14′) to the horizontal relative velocity between building unit (1) and basic structural unit (42) decreases steadily.

A building structure, comprising two building units (1) bearing-mounted to be movable laterally relative to one another, wherein an expansion joint (5) having a walkable and/or drivable joint cover (6) is present between the building units, wherein

the joint cover (6) is braced via a first bracing structure on the first building unit (1) and via a second bracing structure on the second building unit (1),
the first bracing structure comprises a pairing of two sliding partners (15, 16), of which one is a bracing sliding partner (15) associated in positionally fixed relationship with the first building unit (1) and one is a braced sliding partner (16) associated in positionally fixed relationship with the joint cover (6), and/or the second bracing structure comprises a pairing of two sliding partners (15, 16), of which one is a bracing sliding partner (15) associated in positionally fixed relationship with the second building unit (1) and one is a braced sliding partner (16) associated in positionally fixed relationship with the joint cover (6),
at least one of the sliding partners is constructed at least in a lifting region as a sliding ramp (24) that, during sliding contact of the associated sliding partner with the sliding ramp (24), an approach of the two building units (1) relative to one another corresponding to a reduction of a clear width of the expansion joint (5) leads to lifting of the joint cover (6) in the region of the corresponding bracing structure,
wherein the sliding ramp (24) is constructed as a progressive curvature portion with a steadily increasing slope over at least part of its extent that, during sliding contact of the associated sliding partner having this portion of the sliding ramp (24), approach of the building units (1) relative to one another with constant horizontal velocity leads to lifting of the joint cover (6) in the region of the corresponding bracing structure with steadily increasing vertical velocity.
