Marine lighting assembly

A marine lighting assembly configured for installation with a marine handrail which includes an opening in a curved external surface of the handrail leading to a handrail interior, the lighting assembly including:

• a mounting configured for connection to the curved external surface of the handrail in a position overlying the handrail opening, the mounting including an outer side configured to face outwardly from the handrail and an underside configured to face toward the handrail, wherein the mounting includes a protrusion extending from the underside and insertable into the handrail opening and wherein the mounting underside is curved to correspond with the curved external surface;
• at least one sealing member locatable between the mounting underside and the handrail external surface for resisting water ingress between the mounting and the handrail external surface, the sealing member located in one or more recesses provided in the mounting underside;
• and
• a lighting device connected with the mounting and insertable through the handrail opening, the lighting device configured for location within the handrail interior and to provide light through a lighting opening in the mounting outer side and the lighting device being removably connected to the protrusion.
