Abstract
An example method is described in which a property is measured associated with air flowing through a print gap between a print head and a printing substrate, the print head to eject a print fluid on the printing substrate; an ejection of print fluid is adjusted from the print head based on the measured property.
Claims15
A method comprising:
- measuring, in real time, via a sensor, airflow of air that originates external to the print head, said air flowing through a print gap between a print head and a printing substrate, the print head to eject a print fluid on the printing substrate;
- and
- adjusting, substantially at the real time, an ejection of print fluid from the print head based on the measured property.
A printing system comprising:
- a nozzle to eject a drop of print agent through a print gap between the nozzle and a printing substrate;
- a sensor to measure, in real time, an air flow in the print gap, the air flow originating external to the nozzle;
- and
- a processor to adjust, substantially at the real time, a firing of the nozzle based on a reading of the sensor.

A vehicle comprising:
- a printing system having:
- nozzles to fire a print agent on a printing substrate;
- a sensor to measure, in real time, airflow between the nozzles and the printing substrate, the air originating external to the nozzles;
- and
- a controller to control, substantially at the real time, the operation of the nozzles based on the measured airflow.
