Abstract
The present disclosure relates to CCL22 as a T cell target in cancer immunosuppression.
Claims4
A method of treating a cancer where C—C Motif Chemokine 22 (CCL22) is expressed, the method comprising administering to an individual suffering from said cancer a composition comprising an immunogenically active peptide fragment of CCL22 consisting of at least 25 and not more than 50 consecutive residues of SEQ ID NO:
- 12,
- wherein the peptide fragment comprises a sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, SEQ ID NO:
- 3, SEQ ID NO:
- 4, SEQ ID NO:
- 5, and SEQ ID NO:
- 11,
- wherein the method inhibits recruitment of immune suppressive cells to a CCL22-expressing tumor, and
- wherein CCL22-expressing cells are lysed by T cells reactive to the administered peptide.
