Abstract
Provided is halloysite powder having a small b value. The halloysite powder is powder including a granule in which halloysite including halloysite nanotubes is aggregated, the granule has a first pore deriving from a tube hole of the halloysite nanotubes and a second pore different from the first pore, and the Fe2O3 content is not more than 2.00 mass %.

Halloysite powder that is powder comprising a granule in which halloysite including a halloysite nanotube is aggregated,
- wherein the halloysite includes metahalloysite obtained by firing halloysite at a temperature not lower than 500° C.,
- wherein the granule includes a first pore deriving from a tube hole of the halloysite nanotube, and a second pore different from the first pore,
- wherein the halloysite powder comprises Fe2O3 in an amount more than 0% and not more than 2.00 mass %, and
- wherein the halloysite powder has a b value of not larger than 15.
