Agricultural machine operable in a combined or in a separated configuration

An agricultural machine comprising:

• an auxiliary vehicle comprising a driver's workplace;
• an agricultural vehicle comprising a loading ramp for transporting the auxiliary vehicle and a protective structure being moveable between a released position and a secured position for protecting the auxiliar vehicle when placed on the loading ramp;
• and
• a control unit;
• wherein the agricultural machine is operable in a combined configuration or in a separated configuration;
• wherein the driver's workplace comprises a human machine interface for controlling a manual driving function of the agricultural vehicle and a manual driving function of the auxiliary vehicle;
• and
• wherein the control unit is configured to disable the manual driving function of the auxiliary vehicle if the combined configuration of the agricultural machine is present and to enable the manual driving function of the auxiliary vehicle if the separated configuration of the agricultural machine is present.
