Systems/methods of cellular advancements

A first device that is configured to perform operations comprising:

• responsive to information received from a second device, establishing at least three transmit modes any two of which differ from one another in bandwidth, frequencies, subcarriers, a power level, an antenna configuration and/or a physical layer of an air interface;
• and
• storing at the first device the at least three transmit modes that are established;
• then
• communicating first data to the second device using a first transmit mode of the at least three transmit modes that have been established and stored;
• and
• selecting and using a second transmit mode of the at least three transmit modes that have been established and stored to communicate second data to the second device responsive to a parameter associated with the second data and/or responsive to an index, comprising two bits of information, that is communicated to the first device by the second device;
• wherein said parameter associated with the second data comprises a value of data, a quality-of-service, a size of data, a velocity, an interference level, a bit-error-rate, a data rate, a time-of-day, a security/privacy concern, a location of the second device and/or a distance between the first device and the second device.
