Caisson height profiler system and method

A method for creating and controlling a wave profile in a wave pool, comprising:

• providing a plurality of wave generating chambers;
• providing a valve structure in each of the plurality of wave generating chambers, wherein each valve structures comprises one or more intake valves for allowing air into the plurality of wave generating chambers and one or more exhaust valves for venting air from the plurality of wave generating chambers;
• providing a controller capable of selectively opening each intake valve and each exhaust valve to control the amount of air and water in each of the plurality of wave generating chambers;
• providing a graphical user interface that allows a user to determine a chamber profile comprising a water height profile and a release velocity profile of water for each chamber of the plurality of wave generating chambers;
• simultaneously actuating the valve structures in each chamber of the plurality of chambers to control the amount of air and water in each chamber according to the chamber profile of each chamber;
• releasing water from each chamber of the plurality of wave generating chambers according to the chamber profile assigned to each chamber.
