Abstract
A head module includes at least two liquid discharge heads, a reservoir, a heater, an inlet, a first outlet, a second outlet, and a wall member. The liquid discharge heads discharge liquid. The reservoir stores the liquid. The heater heats the liquid in the reservoir. The liquid is to be introduced from the inlet into the reservoir. The liquid in the reservoir is to be delivered from the first outlet to one of the liquid discharge heads. The liquid in the reservoir is to be delivered from the second outlet to another of the liquid discharge heads. A distance between the inlet and the first outlet is shorter than a distance between the inlet and the second outlet. The wall member is interposed between the inlet and the first outlet.
Claims13
A head module, comprising:
- at least two liquid discharge heads to discharge liquid;
- a reservoir to store the liquid;
- a heater to heat the liquid in the reservoir;
- an inlet from which the liquid is to be introduced into the reservoir;
- a first outlet from which the liquid in the reservoir is to be delivered to one of the liquid discharge heads;
- a second outlet from which the liquid in the reservoir is to be delivered to another of the liquid discharge heads, a distance between the inlet and the first outlet being shorter than a distance between the inlet and the second outlet;
- and
- a wall interposed between the inlet and the first outlet,
- wherein the wall is a diverter to make a temperature of the liquid exiting the first outlet closer to a temperature of the liquid heated by the heater exiting the second outlet.
