Event trigger for independent links

An apparatus for communication, comprising:

• one or more memories;
• and
• one or more processors coupled to the one or more memories and configured to:
• obtain first measurement information for a first wireless communication link, wherein the obtaining of the first measurement information comprises a first measurement operation using a first beam;
• generate a first event trigger based on the first measurement information;
• obtain second measurement information for a second wireless communication link, wherein the obtaining of the second measurement information comprises a second measurement operation using a second beam, and wherein the second measurement operation is independent of the first measurement operation;
• and
• generate a second event trigger based on the second measurement information.

An apparatus for communication, comprising:

• means for obtaining first measurement information for a first wireless communication link, wherein the obtaining of the first measurement information comprises a first measurement operation using a first beam;
• means for generating a first event trigger based on the first measurement information;
• means for obtaining second measurement information for a second wireless communication link, wherein the obtaining of the second measurement information comprises a second measurement operation using a second beam, and wherein the second measurement operation is independent of the first measurement operation;
• and
• means for generating a second event trigger based on the second measurement information.
