Positional quick insert

A method comprising:

• obtaining, using one or more processors, a hierarchical structure associated with a script, the hierarchical structure including a plurality of components;
• determining, using the one or more processors, a set of available insertion positions within the hierarchical structure, the set of available positions including a first position, wherein an available insertion position is a position within the hierarchical structure that, responsive to a user request, a new component may be inserted into the hierarchical structure;
• determining, using the one or more processors, a set of inserts available at the first position within the hierarchical structure;
• presenting, using the one or more processors, to a user, a user interface, the user interface representing:
• the hierarchical structure of the plurality of components;
• a set of graphical insert elements, wherein each graphical insert element within the set of graphical insert elements is associated with one of the available insertion positions from the determined set of available insertion positions, the set of graphical insert elements including a first graphical insert element associated with the first position within the hierarchical structure;
• receiving, using the one or more processors, in association with the first graphical insert element, a request to insert the new component into the hierarchical structure at the first position associated with the first graphical insert element;
• and
• modifying, using the one or more processors, the hierarchical structure by inserting the new component into the hierarchical structure at the first position associated with the first graphical insert element.
