Abstract
A composition comprising a plurality of particles and methods for producing the plurality of particles. The particles comprise: 30 to 95 wt. % polyethylene glycol and the polyethylene glycol has a weight average molecular weight from 4000 to 12000. The plurality of particles further includes 0.1 to 60 wt. % of a secondary carrier. The secondary carrier is provided in the form of particles having a volume average particle size of 35 to 75 μm. The plurality of particles also includes 0.1 to 30 wt. % perfume materials.
Claims13
A composition comprising a plurality of particles, wherein said particles comprise:
- a. 50 to 95 wt. % polyethylene glycol, the polyethylene glycol has a weight average molecular weight from 4,000 to 12,000;
- b. 10 to 60 wt. % secondary carrier, the secondary carrier is provided as secondary carrier particles, the secondary carrier particles having a volume average particle size of 35 to 75 μm, and the secondary carrier comprises saccharides, wherein the secondary carrier particle size aids the processing and formation of the particles, provides a viscosity of 45 Pa·s @ 0.1 s−1 at processing temperatures of between 40° and 70° C., imparts structure in the particles, and are sized to not sediment in the composition;
- and
- c. 0.1 to 30 wt. % perfume materials;
- wherein said particles are homogeneously structured.
