Abstract
The present invention provides compositions and pharmaceutical compositions of GPR84 agonists and GPR120 agonists for us in the treatment of obesity and overweight. The invention provides methods of treatment accordingly as well as a kit for use in the treatment of obesity and overweight.
Claims11
A method of treating obesity and overweight comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a delayed release formulation of a composition comprising a GPR84 agonist and a GPR120 agonist;
- wherein the GPR84 agonist is:
- a) lauric acid (C12:0), or an ester thereof;
- and
- wherein the GPR120 agonist is:
- a) α-linolenic acid (ALA), or an ester thereof;
- wherein the delayed release formulation is for release in the distal small intestine and large intestine.
