Anchorage template for building walls and method

A sill plate anchorage assembly for supporting building walls upon a concrete foundation, the sill plate anchorage assembly comprising in combination:

• a) a concrete formwork member serving to border a space in which concrete is poured to form the concrete foundation;
• b) an elongated wooden member including an uppermost surface and an opposing lowermost surface, the elongated wooden member including a plurality of substantially vertical spaced apertures formed therein, each substantially vertical spaced aperture extending from the uppermost surface to the lowermost surface, the elongated wooden member being coupled, at least temporarily, to the concrete formwork member;
• c) a plurality of anchor shafts, each anchor shaft extending between a lower end and an opposing upper end, each anchor shaft extending at least partially through a corresponding substantially vertical spaced aperture in the elongated wooden member, the lower end of each anchor shaft extending downwardly below the elongated wooden member into the space in which concrete is poured to form the concrete foundation;
• d) a plurality of anchor shaft fasteners, each of said plurality of anchor shaft fasteners being adapted to engage the upper end of a corresponding anchor shaft below the uppermost surface of the elongated wooden member, the plurality of anchor shaft fasteners being adapted to secure the elongated wooden member directly against the concrete foundation after the concrete is poured and cured;
• e) at least one vertical wall panel, the vertical wall panel including a lowermost base portion for being supported directly upon the elongated wooden member;
• and
• f) a plurality of wall fasteners extending through the lowermost base portion of the vertical wall panel into the elongated wooden member for fastening the lowermost base portion of the vertical wall panel directly to the elongated wooden member.
