Abstract
Cell culture media, concentrated media and feeds, methods of manufacturing cell culture media and feeds, and methods of culturing cells are provided. One or more small peptides, including dipeptides are added to the cell culture media to provide improved stability and improved conditions for culturing cells.

A cell culture medium or a cell culture supplement comprising at least one alanyl cystine dipeptide, wherein the cell is a mammalian cell, and wherein the cell culture medium or the cell culture supplement supports cultivation of the cell in vitro, wherein the alanyl cystine dipeptide has two cysteine residues linked together by a disulfide bond to form N,N′-di-L-alanyl-L-cystine.
