A cationic polymer having a repeating unit that is,
- wherein
- m is an integer of 1 to 20;
- n is an integer of 2 to 150;
- each R1 and R2 is independently hydrogen or substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl;
- each LM2A and LM2B is independently substituted or unsubstituted alkylene;
- LM1 is independently hydroxyl-substituted alkylene;
- wherein the alkylene group is a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C8 alkylene.
