Abstract
An explosion-proof box for batteries is provided, including: an outer shell; an inner shell, the inner shell being positioned inside the outer shell; and a flame arresting device, the flame arresting device running through both the outer shell and the inner shell, where the flame arresting device includes: an exhaust passage configured to discharge gases generated within the inner shell to the outside of the outer shell; and recesses disposed on the inner surface of the exhaust passage for absorbing heat energy.
Claims12
An explosion-proof box for batteries, comprising:
- an outer shell;
- an inner shell, the inner shell being positioned inside the outer shell;
- a bracket inside the explosion-proof box;
- and
- a flame arresting device, the flame arresting device extending through both the outer shell and the inner shell, wherein the flame arresting device comprises:
- an exhaust passage configured to discharge gases generated within the inner shell to an outside of the outer shell;
- and
- recesses disposed on an inner surface of the exhaust passage for absorbing heat energy,
- wherein the recesses are a plurality of metal annular members arranged on the inner surface of the exhaust passage, and
- wherein the batteries are detachably connectable to the bracket.
