Abstract
One or more example embodiments relates to a stretcher board of a patient couch. The stretcher board is configured to support a patient. The stretcher board includes a hollow body with a closed monolithic lateral area, the closed monolithic lateral area including an upwardly directed subregion defining a patient support surface, the patient support surface having an upwardly directed convex curvature.
Claims16
A stretcher board of a patient couch, the stretcher board configured to support a patient, the stretcher board comprising:
- a hollow body with a closed monolithic lateral area, the closed monolithic lateral area including an upwardly directed subregion defining a patient support surface and a downwardly directed subregion, wherein
- the patient support surface has an upwardly directed convex curvature,
- a vertical distance of the downwardly directed subregion reduces with respect to a central axis running through the stretcher board in a longitudinal extension from a first front face to a second front face, and
- the vertical distance between the first front face and the second front face reduces by 20 mm to 30 mm.
