Full motion video (FMV) routing in one-way transfer systems using modified elementary streams

A method for routing video streams in a one-way transfer (OWT) system,

• the method comprising:
• receiving, by a destination video broker in a destination computing environment, an enriched video stream, wherein the enriched video stream includes a multiplexed content packetized elementary stream (PES) and a routing PES including a unique identifier for a video stream that was enriched to form the enriched video stream;
• accessing the routing PES by demultiplexing the enriched video stream;
• extracting the unique identifier from the routing PES;
• forming an unenriched video stream by multiplexing the content PES without the routing PES;
• based on the extracted unique identifier, identifying, by the destination video broker, a destination address for the video stream;
• and
• transmitting, by the destination video broker, the unenriched video stream to a destination device having the destination address.

A method for routing video streams in a one-way transfer (OWT) system,

• the method comprising:
• receiving, by a destination video broker in a source computing environment, an enriched video stream comprising multiple, multiplexed packetized elementary streams (PESs) including at least one of:
• a routing PES including a unique identifier for a video stream that was enriched to form the enriched video stream;
• or
• an enriched metadata PES including the unique identifier;
• accessing the at least one of the routing PES or the enriched metadata PES by demultiplexing the enriched video stream;
• extracting the unique identifier from the at least one of routing PES or the enriched metadata PES;
• forming an unenriched video stream by multiplexing the PESs without the routing PES;
• based on the extracted unique identifier, identifying, by the destination video broker, a destination address for the video stream;
• and
• transmitting, by the destination video broker, the unenriched video stream to a destination device having the destination address.
