Apparatus and method for displaying images unto LED panels

A machine readable and non-transitory medium having information stored thereon for LED display, wherein the information, once read by a machine, causes the machine to perform:

• receiving a signal to move a new bit-based image block stored in memory to a first buffer of a pair of two alternate buffers;
• transferring, via a bus connected between the pair of two alternate buffers and an image bits sequencer, a bit-based image block previously stored in a second buffer of the pair of two alternate buffers to the image bits sequencer;
• sequencing, at the image bits sequencer by executing microcodes for a connection type of panels within the LED display, the stored bit-based image block, resulting in a sequenced image block, and
• refreshing lights of the LED display using the sequenced image block.

A system, comprising:

• a LED display;
• a pair of two alternate buffers configured for alternately storing and retrieving bit-based image blocks;
• a memory;
• a bus connected between the memory and the pair of two alternate buffers;
• an image bits sequencer;
• a machine readable and non-transitory medium having information stored thereon, wherein the information, once read by a machine, causes the machine to perform:
• receiving a signal to move a new bit-based image block stored in the memory to a first buffer of the pair of two alternate buffers;
• transferring, via a bus connected between the pair of two alternate buffers and an image bits sequencer, a bit-based image block previously stored in a second buffer of the pair of two alternate buffers to the image bits sequencer;
• sequencing, at the image bits sequencer by executing microcodes for a connection type of panels within the LED display, the stored bit-based image block, resulting in a sequenced image block, and
• refreshing lights of the LED display using the sequenced image block.
