Transistor driving a load, and corresponding circuit arrangement for sensing

A circuit, comprising:

• a power stage configured to drive one or more loads, said power stage including one or more Field Effect Transistors;
• and
• a pre-driving stage configured to drive the one or more Field Effect Transistors;
• wherein the pre-driving stage comprises:
• a circuit configured to measure a drain to source voltage of each Field Effect Transistor of the one or more Field Effect Transistors;
• a circuit configured to measure an operating temperature of said one or more Field Effect Transistors;
• and
• a processing circuit configured to determine a current flowing in said one or more Field Effect Transistors by:
• calculating a respective drain to source on resistance of each Field Effect Transistor of said one or more Field Effect Transistors at the operating temperature as a function of said measured operating temperature;
• and
• obtaining said current as a ratio of the respective measured drain to source voltage over said calculated drain to source on resistance at the operating temperature.
