Recording apparatus

A recording apparatus, comprising:

• a recording portion that performs recording on a medium by ejecting a liquid onto the medium;
• a first attachment portion to which a liquid container containing the liquid to be supplied to the recording portion is configured to be attached;
• a body in which the recording portion and the first attachment portion are mounted and constituting at least a part of a front surface of the recording apparatus;
• and
• a housing configured to house the body, wherein
• the body is configured to be changed in position between a closed position and an open position in a position-change direction intersecting with a vertical direction,
• the closed position is a position at which the body is housed inside the housing,
• the open position is a position at which the body protrudes from the housing in a first position-change direction of the position-change direction, and
• the first attachment portion is exposed when the body is located at the open position.

A recording apparatus, comprising:

• a recording portion that performs recording on a medium by ejecting a liquid onto the medium;
• an attachment portion to which a waste liquid container is configured to be attached, the waste liquid container being a container into which a liquid discharged as a waste liquid from the recording portion is configured to be collected;
• a body in which the recording portion and the attachment portion are mounted and constituting at least a part of a front surface of the recording apparatus;
• and
• a housing configured to house the body, wherein
• the body is configured to be changed in position between a closed position and an open position in a position-change direction intersecting with a vertical direction,
• the closed position is a position at which the body is housed inside the housing,
• the open position is a position at which the body protrudes from the housing in a first position-change direction of the position-change direction, and
• the attachment portion is exposed when the body is located at the open position.
