Abstract
A fluid applicator configured to receive a pressurized fluid includes a pressure vessel configured to receive the pressurized fluid from a fluid delivery line. The pressure vessel includes a valve chamber configured to receive a valve assembly, a filter chamber configured to receive a filter assembly, and a fluid delivery line fitting configured to be coupled to the fluid delivery line. The fluid applicator further including a tip assembly coupled to the pressure vessel and configured to atomize the pressurized fluid.
Claims23
A fluid applicator comprising:
- a pressure vessel configured to receive pressurized fluid from a fluid delivery line, the pressure vessel comprising:
- a valve chamber;
- a valve disposed within the valve chamber;
- a mounting mechanism;
- a filter chamber;
- a filter disposed within the filter chamber;
- and
- a fluid delivery line fitting configured to be coupled to the fluid delivery line;
- a valve actuating mechanism disposed within the mounting mechanism and moveable to actuate the valve, the valve actuating mechanism comprising:
- a first mating feature;
- and
- a second mating feature;
- and
- a tip assembly coupled to the pressure vessel and configured to atomize the pressurized fluid.
A fluid applicator comprising:
- a pressure vessel configured to receive pressurized fluid from a fluid delivery line, the pressure vessel comprising:
- a valve chamber;
- a valve disposed within the valve chamber;
- a valve seat insert molded into the pressure vessel;
- a filter chamber;
- a filter disposed within the filter chamber;
- and
- a fluid delivery line fitting configured to be coupled to the fluid delivery line;
- and
- a tip assembly coupled to the pressure vessel and configured to atomize the pressurized fluid.
A fluid applicator comprising:
- a pressure vessel configured to receive pressurized fluid from a fluid delivery line, the pressure vessel comprising:
- a first end;
- a second end opposite the first end;
- an opening on the second end;
- a valve chamber;
- a valve disposed within the valve chamber, the valve configured to travel through the opening on the second end to be disposed within the valve chamber;
- a filter chamber;
- a filter disposed within the filter chamber;
- and
- a fluid delivery line fitting configured to be coupled to the fluid delivery line;
- and
- a tip assembly coupled to the first end of the pressure vessel and configured to atomize the pressurized fluid.
A fluid applicator comprising:
- a pressure vessel configured to receive pressurized fluid from a fluid delivery line, the pressure vessel comprising:
- a valve chamber;
- a valve disposed within the valve chamber;
- a filter chamber;
- a filter disposed within the filter chamber;
- and
- a fluid delivery line fitting configured to be coupled to the fluid delivery line;
- and
- a tip assembly coupled to the pressure vessel and configured to atomize the pressurized fluid, the tip assembly comprising:
- a ball tip saddle comprising a first aperture and a second aperture, the second aperture comprising an inlet and an outlet;
- and
- a tip stem comprising a third aperture extending between an inlet and an outlet, the tip stem disposed through the first aperture of the ball tip saddle.
A fluid applicator comprising:
- a pressure vessel configured to receive pressurized fluid from a fluid delivery line, the pressure vessel comprising:
- a valve chamber;
- a valve disposed within the valve chamber;
