Abstract
A radioactive thermogel suspension, including a thermogel and a plurality of radioactive yttrium phosphate particles suspended in the thermogel. The thermogel is PLGA-g-PEG. The thermogel contains less than 65 ppm stannous octanoate. The plurality of radioactive yttrium phosphate particles are between 0.03 um and 10 um in diameter. The plurality of radioactive yttrium phosphate particles are generally spherical. The YPO4 particle concentration is in the range of 3 mg/ml to 100 mg/ml.
Claims9
A radioactive thermogel suspension, comprising:
- a thermogel, wherein the thermogel is PLGA-g-PEG containing less than 65 ppm stannous octanoate;
- and
- a plurality of radioactive metal phosphate particles suspended in the thermogel, wherein each metal phosphate particle includes a metal cation and a phosphate-bearing functional group;
- and
- wherein the plurality of radioactive metal phosphate particles are between 0.03 um and 10 um in diameter.
