Abstract
Provided herein are immunogenic compositions for the prevention of Zika virus infections. Disclosed herein are immunogenic compositions comprising an expression vector and a nucleotide sequence disposed therein, wherein the nucleotide sequence comprises: a nucleotide sequence encoding a Zika virus NS3 protein. Further disclosed herein are methods for preventing a Zika virus infection in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of an immunogenic composition of the present disclosure to the subject.
Claims13
An immunogenic composition comprising an expression vector and a nucleotide sequence disposed therein, wherein the nucleotide sequence comprises:
- a Zika virus NS3 nucleotide sequence encoding a Zika virus NS3 protein, wherein the Zika virus NS3 nucleotide sequence is reorganized and comprises the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:3;
- and
- a ubiquitin nucleotide sequence upstream of the Zika virus NS3 protein sequence.
An immunogenic composition comprising an expression vector and a nucleotide sequence disposed therein, wherein the nucleotide sequence comprises a Zika virus NS3 nucleotide sequence encoding a Zika virus NS3 protein, wherein the Zika virus NS3 nucleotide sequence is reorganized and comprises the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 3.
