Provided herein are methods of improving kidney function in a subject in need thereof.

A method of stabilizing eGFR in a subject, wherein the subject has biopsy-diagnosed IgA nephropathy, comprising administering to the subject from about 0.20 mg to about 1.5 mg of atrasentan, or an equivalent amount of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
