Compression legwear with linear pads to control symptoms of varicose veins

A compression stocking dimensioned, adapted, and configured to be worn by a wearer having varicose veins, wherein the stocking comprises:

• a body having an upper margin and a lower region spaced from the upper margin, wherein the lower region is configured to be located closely adjacent to an ankle of the wearer, and wherein the lower region is sized, adapted and configured to snuggly receive a foot of the wearer;
• and at least four elongated linear pads secured to an inner surface of the body, wherein a first two of the at least four pads are configured to extend from the lower region to an intermediate region configured to be located closely adjacent to a knee of the wearer of the stocking, wherein each of the first two of the at least four pads has a width ranging from 1 centimeter (cm) to 4 cm and a thickness ranging from 1 millimeter (mm) to 6 mm, wherein a second two of the at least four pads are configured to extend downwardly from the upper margin to the intermediate region configured to be located closely adjacent the knee, wherein each of the second two of the at least four pads has a width ranging from 1 cm to 5 cm and a thickness ranging from 1 mm to 8 mm, wherein each of the at least four pads is adapted and configured to exert a pressure of about 20-30 mm Hg to a varicose vein of the wearer of the stocking, wherein the at least four pads are spaced-apart and are oriented vertically, and wherein the at least four elongated pads are secured within the body and are configured to be located either closely adjacent to or overlaying the varicose veins of the wearer of the stocking.
