Abstract
An electronic device is provided that includes a board equipped with a pair of differential transmission lines that each have an opening extending between two line terminals. Moreover, the device includes a capacitor module that includes a support and two capacitors that each have two capacitor terminals, respectively, connected to the two line terminals of one line of the pair of transmission lines. In addition, the support includes a separating region between the two capacitors that has at least one cavity disposed between the two capacitors.
Claims18
An electronic device comprising:
- a board having a pair of differential transmission lines that each have an opening extending between two line terminals;
- a capacitor module having a support and two capacitors that each have two capacitor terminals, respectively, connected to the two line terminals of one line of the pair of transmission lines,
- wherein the support comprises a separating region disposed between the two capacitors and that includes at least one cavity disposed between the two capacitors, and
- wherein the at least one cavity is one of a trench, a hole, or an anodic pore.
A method of manufacturing an electronic device comprising:
- obtaining a board equipped with a pair of differential transmission lines that each have an opening extending between two line terminals;
- obtaining a capacitor module having a support and two capacitors that each have two capacitor terminals, respectively, connected to the two line terminals of one line of the pair of transmission lines, with the two capacitors being separated by a separating region of the support;
- and
- forming at least one cavity in the separating region, the at least one cavity being one of a trench, a hole, or an anodic pore.
