Abstract
A swimming pool cleaner coupled to a hose, wherein the hose is configured to automatically extend and retract.
Claims10
A self-contained hose reel for a pool comprising:
- a housing;
- a valve positioned within the housing, the valve configured to change between a first mode and a second mode based on fluid flowing through the valve;
- a drum configured to move a hose, wherein the drum rotates in a first direction when the valve is in the first mode, and the drum rotates in a second direction when the valve is in the second mode, the housing, the valve, and the drum are configured to be positioned within the pool, the valve being positioned centrally within the drum and the fluid flows through the valve within the drum in an axis perpendicular to the rotation of the rotation of the drum.
