Abstract
A binding machine, includes: an accommodating portion configured to accommodate a wound binding tape; a main handle; and a clincher arm. The accommodating portion includes, with the wound binding tape in an accommodated state, a side wall portion that faces a side surface of the binding tape, and a circumferential portion that is continuous with the side wall portion, faces a front surface of the binding tape, and is provided with an opening for accommodating the binding tape in a part of the circumferential portion.
Claims20
A binding machine, comprising:
- an accommodating portion configured to accommodate a wound binding tape;
- a main handle configured to guide the binding tape accommodated in the accommodating portion such that a part of the binding tape is allowed to be pulled out from one end of the main handle;
- and
- a clincher arm rotatably provided to the main handle, the clincher arm including a holding portion including at least a lock plate and a tape catch and configured to hold the part of the binding tape pulled out from the one end of the main handle, and a clincher configured to wrap the part of the binding tape held by the holding portion around objects to be bound and bind the part of the binding tape, wherein
- the accommodating portion includes, with the wound binding tape in an accommodated state,
- a side wall portion that faces a side surface of the binding tape in an axial direction of the accommodating portion;
- and
- a circumferential portion that is continuous with the side wall portion, the circumferential portion facing a front surface of the binding tape,
- wherein a part of the side wall portion has a cutout that allows a part of the side surface of the binding tape to be exposed, and
- wherein the circumferential portion has an opening portion, which is continuous with the cutout of the side wall portion, through which the binding tape is movable in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the accommodating portion, for accommodating the binding tape in a part of the circumferential portion.
A binding machine, comprising:
- an accommodating portion configured to accommodate a wound binding tape;
- a main handle configured to guide the binding tape accommodated in the accommodating portion such that a part of the binding tape is allowed to be pulled out from one end of the main handle;
- and
- a clincher arm rotatably provided to the main handle, the clincher arm including a holding portion including at least a lock plate and a tape catch and configured to hold the part of the binding tape pulled out from the one end of the main handle, and a clincher configured to wrap the part of the binding tape held by the holding portion around objects to be bound and bind the part of the binding tape, wherein
- the accommodating portion includes, with the wound binding tape being accommodated therein, a first inner wall surface that faces at least a part of a circular side surface of the binding tape, wherein a part of the first inner wall surface includes a cutout to allow a part of the side surface of the binding tape to be exposed, a second inner wall surface that faces at least a part of another circular side surface of the binding tape, and a third inner wall surface that connects the first inner wall surface and the second inner wall surface, which face each other in an axial direction of the accommodating portion, the third inner wall surface has an opening portion, which is continuous with the cutout of the first inner wall surface, through which the binding tape is movable in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the accommodating portion, for accommodating the binding tape.
A binding machine, comprising:
- an accommodating portion that includes an opening, which opens to an outside, at a side portion of the accommodating portion for accommodating a wound binding tape;
- and
- an engaging portion protruding from another side portion of the accommodating portion toward the opening and configured to engage with the binding tape, the side portion of the accommodating portion being opened to the outside both in a first state where the engaging portion engages with the binding tape and in a second state where engagement between the engaging portion and the binding tape is released, when the binding machine is in an in-use state.
