Upper body exercise apparatus

An exercise apparatus, comprising:

• a frame body;
• and
• a physical exercise device mounted on the frame body, the physical exercise device having:
• a flywheel;
• a left moving member and a right moving member, being operable by a user to perform a physical exercise with two hands or two legs and rotatable around an axis corresponding to a lateral direction of the exercise apparatus, wherein the axis is spaced apart from an axis of the flywheel, and wherein rotation of the left and right moving members drives the flywheel to rotate;
• and
• a driving mechanism coupled to the flywheel and the left and right moving members, and having a left driving mechanism and a right driving mechanism;
• the left driving mechanism mounted between the left moving member and the flywheel to drive the flywheel to rotate in a predetermined rotational direction, regardless of whether the left moving member is operated to be rotated in a forward direction or a reverse direction;
• the right driving mechanism mounted between the right moving member and the flywheel to drive the flywheel to rotate in the predetermined rotational direction, regardless of whether the right moving member is operated to be rotated in the forward direction or the reverse direction.
