Abstract
A body model representing a massage recipient of an automated massage that is provided via a robotic arm is received. A user input is received via a control object in a user interface. The user input is output where the user input is used to update the automated massage that is provided via the robotic arm. The body model, the control object associated with controlling the automated massage that is provided via the robotic arm, and massage information associated with the automated massage that is provided via the robotic arm are displayed via the user interface.
Claims21
A system, comprising:
- an armrest;
- a headrest having a cutout;
- a user interface controller, wherein the user interface controller:
- receives a dynamic body model representing a massage recipient of an automated massage that is provided via a robotic arm, wherein:
- there is at least one updated version of the dynamic body model that is updated during the automated massage;
- and
- the dynamic body model includes clothing worn by the massage recipient during the automated massage;
- receives, via a control object in a user interface, a user input;
- outputs the user input, wherein the user input is used to update the automated massage that is provided via the robotic arm;
- and
- includes a physically based rendering engine and uses the physically based rendering engine to generate a rendering that is presented in the user interface, wherein the rendering simultaneously includes:
- (1) the dynamic body model, including said at least one updated version of the dynamic body model that is updated during the automated massage and including shadowing on the clothing worn by the massage recipient during the automated massage based at least in part on a light source, (2) the control object associated with controlling the automated massage that is provided via the robotic arm, and (3) massage information associated with the automated massage that is provided via the robotic arm, including a touchpoint indicator showing in real time where the robotic arm is touching the massage recipient;
- and
- the user interface, wherein:
- the user interface presents the rendering generated by the physically based rendering engine;
- the user interface is at least partially embedded within the armrest;
- and
- the user interface is at least partially visible through the cutout in the headrest when the massage recipient is in a prone position.
A method, comprising:
- receiving a dynamic body model representing a massage recipient of an automated massage that is provided via a robotic arm, wherein:
- there is at least one updated version of the dynamic body model that is updated during the automated massage;
- and
- the dynamic body model includes clothing worn by the massage recipient during the automated massage;
- receiving, via a control object in a user interface, a user input;
- outputting the user input, wherein the user input is used to update the automated massage that is provided via the robotic arm;
- using a physically based rendering engine, included in a user interface controller, to generate a rendering that is presented in the user interface, wherein the rendering simultaneously includes:
- (1) the dynamic body model, including said at least one updated version of the dynamic body model that is updated during the automated massage and including shadowing on the clothing worn by the massage recipient during the automated massage based at least in part on a light source, (2) the control object associated with controlling the automated massage that is provided via the robotic arm, and (3) massage information associated with the automated massage that is provided via the robotic arm, including a touchpoint indicator showing in real time where the robotic arm is touching the massage recipient;
- and
- presenting, via the user interface, the rendering generated by the physically based rendering engine, wherein:
- the user interface is at least partially embedded within an armrest;
- and
- the user interface is at least partially visible through a cutout in a headrest when a massage recipient is in a prone position.
