Abstract
Antibodies comprising an antigen recognition region which binds a semaphorin 3A (Sema3A) are disclosed. Uses thereof are also disclosed.

A method of treating an ocular disease selected from the group consisting of non-arthritic ischemic optic atrophy (NAION), glaucoma and retinal detachment in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an antibody comprising an antigen recognition region which binds a semaphorin 3A (Sema3A), having complementarity determining region (CDR) amino acid sequences as set forth in:
- SEQ ID NOs:
- 53 (CDR1), 69 (CDR2) and 85 (CDR3), sequentially arranged from N to C on a light chain of the antibody;
- and SEQ ID NOs:
- 5 (CDR1), 21 (CDR2) and 37 (CDR3), sequentially arranged from N to C on a heavy chain of the antibody, thereby treating the ocular disease in the subject.
