A crystalline form IV of 6-fluoro-N-(3-(2-iodo-4-(perfluoropropan-2-yl)-6-(trifluoromethyl)phenylcarbamoyl)-2-fluorophenyl) nicotinamide (modoflaner) of formula (I):
- wherein the crystalline form IV of modoflaner displays in an X-ray powder diffractogram at 25° C. and Cu-Kα 1 radiation, at least the following reflections, quoted as 2θ value±0.2°:
- 11.6° 11.8°, 16.0° and 20.7°.
