Abstract
Machinery for wrapping up an item, such as a pallet includes a rotatable support for supporting and rotating the item. A releasing device is for releasing a film around the item when the item is rotating on the rotatable support. A moving device is for moving the releasing device. A transfer system transports the film from a coil, located in a fixed position relative to a supporting surface, to the releasing device. The transfer system includes a first oblique diverter, mounted to the releasing device, for diverting the direction of the film as the film enters the releasing device.
Claims15
A machinery for wrapping an item, the machinery comprising:
- a rotatable support for supporting and rotating the item;
- a releasing device for releasing a paper film around the item when said item is rotating on the rotatable support;
- a moving device for moving the releasing device;
- a transfer system for transporting the film from a coil, located in a fixed position relative to a supporting surface, to the releasing device;
- wherein the transfer system comprises:
- a first oblique diverter, mounted to the releasing device, for diverting a direction of the film as the film enters the releasing device;
- a compensation assembly, configured for sliding horizontally, comprising a plurality of rollers rotatable about a prevalently horizontal axis, and configured for the film to pass between the rollers, wherein at least one of the rollers is configured to vary a distance from the other rollers;
- wherein the releasing device is adapted to receive the film as the film exits the compensation assembly;
- moving means for moving the compensation assembly horizontally.
A transfer system adapted to be installed in a machinery for wrapping an item, the machinery comprising:
- a rotatable support for supporting and rotating the item;
- a releasing device for releasing a paper film around the item when said item is rotating on the rotatable support;
- a moving device for moving the releasing device;
- wherein the transfer system is adapted to transport the film from a coil, located in a fixed position relative to a supporting surface, to the releasing device, and comprises:
- a compensation assembly, configured for sliding horizontally, comprising a plurality of rollers rotatable about a prevalently horizontal axis, and configured for the film to pass between the rollers, wherein at least one of the rollers is configured to vary a distance from the other rollers;
- a first oblique diverter, mounted to the releasing device, for diverting a direction of the film coming from the compensation assembly.
