Abstract
A marine vessel maneuvering system includes a controller configured or programmed to perform a water entry determination control to determine whether or not water behind a hull that rises above a water surface due to deceleration of the hull may enter the hull when the hull is decelerating.

A marine vessel maneuvering system comprising:
- a hull;
- and
- a controller configured or programmed to control a speed of the hull;
- wherein
- the controller is configured or programmed to:
- perform a water entry determination control to determine whether or not water behind the hull that rises above a water surface due to deceleration of the hull may enter the hull when the hull is decelerating;
- and
- perform a notification control to notify a vessel operator that the water behind the hull may enter the hull due to the deceleration of the hull when it is determined that the water behind the hull may enter the hull.
