Medical device for preparation of a medicament

A medical device for use in preparing a medicament, the medical device comprising:

• a tray movable from a first configuration to a second configuration and comprising a first tray portion and a second tray portion,
• wherein the first tray portion comprises an upper surface, a bottom surface, and a first retainer on the upper surface of the first tray portion, the first retainer is configured to receive and retain a first medicament vial containing a first medicament constituent,
• wherein the second tray portion comprises an upper surface, a bottom surface, and a second retainer on the upper surface of the second tray portion, the second retainer is configured to receive and retain a second medicament vial containing a second medicament constituent,
• wherein the first tray portion and the second tray portion are pivotably coupled such that the first tray portion is pivotable relative to the second tray portion to move the tray from the first configuration to the second configuration,
• wherein the tray is configured such that, when the first medicament vial is retained in the first retainer and the second medicament vial is retained in the second retainer, the first medicament constituent and the second medicament constituent are accessible by a user, and
• wherein when the tray is in the first configuration, the bottom surface of the first tray portion is co-planar with the bottom surface of the second tray portion, and when the tray is in the second configuration, the bottom surface of the first tray portion is parallel to and faces the bottom surface of the second tray portion.
