Automated message routing changes based on completion rate

A computer-readable medium comprising a set of instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform a process, the process comprising:

• maintaining, at a computing system, a plurality of completion rates, wherein each completion rate is associated with a communication network from a plurality of communication networks and each completion rate characterizes a ratio of (1) a total number of successful user authentications for a plurality of users over the associated communication network to (2) a total number of user authentication attempts for the plurality of users over the associated communication network;
• receiving, from a service provider, a request to authenticate an end user of the service provider;
• generating an authentication message;
• selecting, based on the maintained completion rates, a communication network from the plurality of communication networks;
• transmitting the authentication message to a device associated with the end user using the selected communication network;
• receiving an indication that the end user performed an action in response to receiving the authentication message;
• determining whether the end user has been authenticated based on the end user action;
• and
• updating the maintained completion rate associated with the selected communication network based on the determination of whether the end user has been authenticated based on the end user action.

A computing system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a memory comprising a set of instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform a process, the process comprising:
• maintaining, at a computing system, a plurality of completion rates, wherein each completion rate is associated with a communication network from a plurality of communication networks and each completion rate characterizes a ratio of (1) a total number of successful user authentications for a plurality of users over the associated communication network to (2) a total number of user authentication attempts for the plurality of users over the associated communication network;
• receiving, from a service provider, a request to authenticate an end user of the service provider;
• generating an authentication message;
• selecting, based on the maintained completion rates, a communication network from the plurality of communication networks;
• transmitting the authentication message to a device associated with the end user using the selected communication network;
• receiving an indication that the end user performed an action in response to receiving the authentication message;
• determining whether the end user has been authenticated based on the end user action;
• and
• updating the maintained completion rate associated with the selected communication network based on the determination of whether the end user has been authenticated based on the end user action.
