Abstract
In at least one embodiment, the optoelectronic semiconductor device comprises a carrier, a first semiconductor laser configured to emit a first laser radiation and applied on the carrier, and a multi-mode waveguide configured to guide the first laser radiation and also applied on the carrier, wherein the multi-mode waveguide comprises at least one furcation and a plurality of branches connected by the at least one furcation.
Claims18
An optoelectronic semiconductor device comprising:
- a carrier;
- a first semiconductor laser configured to emit a first laser radiation and applied on the carrier;
- a multi-mode waveguide configured to guide the first laser radiation and also applied on the carrier,
- wherein the multi-mode waveguide comprises at least one furcation and a plurality of branches connected by the at least one furcation;
- a substrate body and a guidance structure protruding from the substrate body;
- a second metallization on a same side of the substrate body as the guidance structure,
- wherein the second metallization is located exclusively laterally displaced relative to the guidance structure, and extends completely along opposing edges of the substrate body.
